This RHCSA (Red Hat Certified System Administrator) (EX200) training course is intended to develop the skills needed for basic administration and configuration of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, introducing key command line concepts and enterprise-level tools and laying the foundation for the rapid deployment of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. The course also introduces the basic administration skills needed for resolving configuration issues and integrating Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems with other existing environments. This course establishes secure user and group administration and allows administrators to use available storage solutions more efficiently and securely.

By attending RHCSA (EX200) workshop, delegates will learn to:

    • IPv4 networking addressing and routing concepts, TCP/UDP, and ports
    • Navigation of the GNOME 3 interface
    • Editing text files from the command line with vim or other available programs
    • Finding information in man pages and info nodes
    • The concept of file permissions
    • Interactive installation of Red Hat Enterprise Linux
    • Per-user ‘at’ and ‘cron’ jobs
    • Use of archival utilities such as ‘tar’, ‘zip’, and compression utilities
    • Absolute and relative paths
    • Finding files with ‘find’ and ‘locate’
