The MS SharePoint 2013 training course teaches experienced .NET developers on how to create robust solutions using MS SharePoint 2013.
By attending MS SharePoint 2013 workshop, delegates will learn to:
- Understand MS SharePoint 2013 both from a capability and architectural perspective
- Use farm and sandbox solutions
- Extend MS SharePoint sites using the MS SharePoint AppModel
- Create custom application pages as well as content pages
- Program with the security API and ure MS SharePoint Apps using app identity
- Create lists and document libraries using the MS SharePoint development tools in Visual Studio 2012
- Build solutions that run on the server and use the MS SharePoint Server-Side API
- Leverage each of the three client object models (CSOM) implementations in MS SharePoint projects
- Create custom workflows
- Consume and interact with external data sources as well as create a custom .NET Assembly Connector
- Understand the search architecture and use it in custom solutions
- Use all of the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) capabilities
You should have professional development experience with Visual Studio, the .NET Framework and ASP.NET as well as familiarity with Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel. It is also recommended (but not required) that you have a background with the previous version of MS SharePoint Foundation 2010 / MS SharePoint Server 2010 and have experience working directly with XML files in Visual Studio.
